MR Delivery Driver – LPG Industry | Port Augusta

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR Delivery Driver to join a leading LPG supplier based in Port Augusta. This ongoing casual opportunity offers full time hours, overtime when required, and a variety of delivery, yard and cylinder-filling duties.

Position Details

- Location: Port Augusta
- Monday to Friday, day shift – approximately 6:00am starts
- Ongoing casual role with full-time hours and overtime as required

Duties

- Safely operate an MR flatbed truck to deliver LPG cylinder cages to customers.
- Load, unload and exchange LPG cylinders using safe manual handling techniques.
- Assist with LPG cylinder filling following training and site procedures.
- Carry out general yard duties, including sorting, inspecting and organising cylinders.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe yard and work area.
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and routine vehicle checks.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and customer records.
- Follow dangerous goods, road transport and workplace safety requirements.




- Provide friendly and professional customer service.

Requirements

- Current MR Licence as a minimum.
- Previous truck driving experience, ideally involving cylinder deliveries or dangerous goods.
- Current Traffic History Report covering the past five years.
- Current LF Forklift Licence advantageous.
- Ability to safely perform manual handling duties, including moving LPG cylinders.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- Current Police Check.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
