Unearth Talent is currently recruiting experienced Investigators and Investigation Leaders for several opportunities supporting a major Federal Government program.

These roles offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex investigations, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance and the integrity of government programs.

Current Opportunities:

- EL1 Lead Investigator | Sydney – Lead and mentor an investigations team, oversee complex and sensitive cases, manage investigation quality and engage with senior government and law enforcement stakeholders.
- APS6 Senior Investigators | Sydney – Conduct complex investigations, gather and assess evidence, prepare briefs of evidence and support regulatory and enforcement outcomes.
- APS6 Senior Investigators | Melbourne – Undertake sensitive investigations, conduct interviews, prepare investigation reports and work closely with government and enforcement partners.

What we're looking for:

- Demonstrated experience conducting complex investigations, preferably within government, regulatory, compliance or law enforcement environments.
- Robust investigative planning, evidence gathering, interviewing and case management skills.




- Experience preparing investigation reports, statements and briefs of evidence.
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent experience/qualifications.
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Leadership and team management experience for the EL1 opportunity.

Opportunity Details:

- Location: Sydney and Melbourne
- Engagement: 12-month labour hire contracts
- Commencement: November 2026
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Australian Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain NV1
