Midnight Hotel is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, customer-focused team player with strong front office and financial auditing skills to be our next Casual Night Auditor.

Reporting to the Night Manager and working as part of our Front Office team, the Night Auditor is responsible for accurately auditing and balancing the hotel’s accounts overnight, including accommodation, parking and food & beverage transactions, and for preparing a range of daily reports. The role works between 11:00pm and 7:00am. It also helps with guest arrivals, departures and day-to-day guest needs, which may include some Housekeeping or Food & Beverage requests, and keeps the hotel and our guests safe and secure overnight.

The role is also responsible for following all reasonable instructions and providing courteous and professional service at all times.

This role will be rostered for a minimum of 2 nights per week on a rotating roster that includes weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

We are looking for

- A dynamic, vibrant, confident and professional personality.




- Previous experience in a Front Office customer service role, preferably within a five-star hotel or similar hospitality environment.
- Previous experience using a Property Management System (preferably Opera).
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Strong time management, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions and reports.
- A high standard of personal presentation.
- The ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure overnight.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid qualification.
- A current full Australian driver’s licence is highly desirable.
- The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
