About You To succeed in this role, you'll bring strong clinical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a range of healthcare professionals. Excellent problem-solving, prioritisation and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

A patient-centred approach and a commitment to safe, timely care.

A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn patient flow processes, systems and pathways.

You will also hold relevant postgraduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management or be willing to undertake further study in this area.

Support and Development

You'll join a close-knit team of Nurse Managers, with ongoing guidance from the Service Manager and support from the wider Patient Flow Unit team.

To set you up for success, you'll complete a structured two-week onboarding period in a supernumerary capacity, working alongside experienced team members to build your knowledge and confidence in Patient Flow Unit systems, referral pathways and inter-hospital transfer procedures and policies.

With hands-on guidance and ongoing team support, you'll develop the skills and confidence to contribute effectively to safe, efficient patient flow across the district.
