Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based on the Gold Coast. This role oversees day-to-day operations across rope access maintenance, cleaning, and safety divisions, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating crews, managing resources and equipment, monitoring project performance, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

The Operations

Manager will collaborate closely with upper management, supervisors and technicians, provide operational leadership,



and support continuous improvement in processes and customer service. The role also involves liaising with clients, preparing operational reports, and contributing to strategic planning and workflow optimisation.

Qualifications

- Experience in operations management, preferably in construction, rope access, waterproofing, or building maintenance environments.
- Solid skills in project coordination, scheduling, and resource allocation to manage multiple jobs and teams effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with knowledge of height safety, WHS regulations, and risk management practices.
- Ability to build positive working relationships, communicate clearly with field teams and clients, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Proficiency with basic office software and project tracking tools; experience with reporting and documentation is beneficial.
- Proven leadership capabilities, including team supervision, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and quality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a quick-paced, site-based environment.
- Relevant qualifications in operations, construction management, or a related field are advantageous; industry certifications in height safety or rope access are a plus.
