Public Sector People is seeking a reliable temporary Parks Assistant to join Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s team in Roselands.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with practical outdoor maintenance experience who enjoys working as part of a team and is confident operating small plant equipment.

- Pay Rate: $36.29 per hour
- Engagement: Casual
- Dates: ASAP – 29 January 2027
- Hours: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm

About the Role

- Assist with parks, gardens and open space maintenance.
- Operate small plant equipment to support daily maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain council grounds and public spaces.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

About You

- Hold a current Class C driver's licence.
- Have experience operating small plant equipment.
- Be comfortable undertaking physical, outdoor work.
- Be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively within a team.
