About the role

Betta Blinds and Awnings are seeking a dedicated Part-Time HR Coordinator to join our team in Forest Glen, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about human resources and employee relations to support our growing organisation on a part-time basis. This position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to make a meaningful contribution to our company's success.

Key responsibilities

- Managing recruitment, onboarding and employee inductions.
- Maintaining employee records, contracts, position descriptions and HR documentation.
- Providing guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace issues.
- Supporting performance reviews, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
- HR policies, procedures and compliance with relevant employment legislation and awards.
- Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives and employee wellbeing.
- Coordinating training, development and relevant qualifications.
- Monitoring HR compliance, maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Providing practical advice and support to managers and employees as required.

What we're looking for

- Demonstrated experience in an HR support or administrative role,



ideally within industrial and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and workplace relations principles
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and discreet manner
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to supporting employees
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong communication with team members
- Experience with recruitment processes and employee onboarding is preferred
