Ideally, you will have experience in:

- Performing the role of the Payroll Officer

- You have obtained relevant qualifications in pursuit of your career in payroll

- You would have worked in local government before or similar hybrid award-based environment and, salary setting

- You have used the system of UKG previously and have the tacit ability to operate the technology system already

- You understand the technological process involved in running payroll systems

- You have experience in reconciling and managing the record on the HRP system

- You have experience in applying context to situations to ensure applicability of the specific policy, procedure or, legislation to resolve

- You have experience being responsible for reporting upwards to relevant authorities

- You have experience managing stakeholders such as third-party organisations

- You have prepared the legal documentation relevant for this role

- You can effectively manage down to your customers
