Belgravia Outdoor Education (BOE) is looking for an organised, approachable and proactive People & Culture Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract from 25 January 2027 through to 12 November 2027.

This is a stand-alone People & Culture role within BOE, reporting to the Finance Manager, with the support and resources of the broader Belgravia Group available to you.

The role will focus on the day-to-day administration and coordination of People & Culture, giving you exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employment documentation, compliance, employee management, employee records, WorkCover administration, child safety requirements and general employee support. These are all areas that form part of BOE's current People & Culture function.

You'll be based in Mitcham, Victoria,



with the role requiring a predominantly onsite presence, particularly while you are learning the business and getting established. After your first four months, there may be the chance for some work-from-home flexibility.

Most importantly, we don't expect you to know everything from day one. This is an opportunity to learn, grow and build your People & Culture capability over the fixed-term period while taking increasing ownership of the function as your confidence develops.

Recruitment Timeline

We're getting in early for our 2027 start. Applications are welcome now, with shortlisted candidates being contacted to arrange interviews after 1 November 2026.

The successful candidate will commence on 25 January 2027, allowing for a planned transition into the maternity leave cover period.

While the contract will conclude on 12 November 2027, there may be an opportunity for ongoing full-time employment with the business following the fixed-term arrangement. Ongoing employment is not guaranteed and would be subject to business requirements and opportunities available at that time.
