Parkglen Retirement Community, a well-established provider of independent living services, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our supportive and caring team.
We are looking for a passionate and committed individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and continue living comfortably within our serviced apartments.
About the Role
This is a casual position with regular weekly shifts and the flexibility to work additional afternoon and overnight shifts as required.
Additional Shifts Available
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
- Active Overnight Shift: 10:45pm - 6:45am
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in residential aged care
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent aged care qualification
- Experience assisting and reporting medications for residents.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid Australian work rights
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
