The Well Team is recruiting experienced aged care Personal Care Workers (PCWs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) for morning and bedtime care in a private home in Penrith, NSW.

This opportunity suits aged care workers with strong hands-on skills in hoist transfers, showering, dressing, continence care and careful positioning. You will support Pare as the second worker during planned two-person care visits, alongside the worker already on duty.

About the role

- Complete two-worker hoist transfers, sling checks, major repositioning and safe seating or bed positioning using the current manual-handling plan.
- Provide thorough, respectful showering, dressing, personal hygiene and continence care.
- Protect skin and limbs during handling, follow the prescribed positioning plan and report changes or concerns promptly.
- Maintain dignity, privacy and consent throughout care.
- Complete clear care notes and handovers, and work calmly and reliably with the other carer.
- Never attempt a task requiring two workers alone.

The experience we are looking for
- Recent hands-on experience as a PCW, PCA or AIN in residential aged care or aged care at home.
- Demonstrated competency with hoists, slings, two-worker transfers, repositioning and personal and continence care.
- Careful observation, sound judgement and the confidence to stop and escalate when a task cannot be completed safely.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or an equivalent care or nursing qualification is highly regarded; demonstrated practical care skills are essential.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, and NDIS Worker Screening clearance before starting. Experienced aged care applicants who need to obtain NDIS clearance are welcome to apply.
- The right to work in Australia and reliable travel to Penrith for the agreed visits.

Planned care windows
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday: 8:00–9:00am for showering, personal care and transfers.
- Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday:



8:30–9:00am for the two-worker transfer and repositioning window.
- Every evening: 9:00–10:00pm for bedtime transfer, continence care and final positioning.

This represents approximately 12.5 planned second-worker attendance hours per week across the roster, shared according to agreed availability. Morning and bedtime visits are separate. Please specify the days and visits you can reliably cover. These are care windows; roster allocation, paid engagement hours, pay and employment conditions will be confirmed in writing before shifts are accepted. Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
