My Botanical Dispensary | Brisbane City

We’re growing our team and looking for a pharmacist working four days per week and a dispensary technician, with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Located on Brisbane’s renowned Wickham Terrace, My Botanical Dispensary brings together a compounding lab, medicinal cannabis dispensary, integrative medical clinic and café under one roof. We’re a private, non-PBS pharmacy delivering personalised, patient-centred care with the support of a multidisciplinary team.

PHARMACIST – 4 DAYS PER WEEK

Your primary focus will be medicinal cannabis dispensing and patient care. You must have experience and confidence in reviewing medicinal cannabis prescriptions, completing clinical checks, counselling patients and responding to enquiries from patients and prescribers. You will be responsible for maintaining the dd book and conducting regular stock taking.

Working alongside our pharmacists and dispensary technicians, you’ll support an accurate, organised dispensary and contribute to a high standard of patient care.

Experience in non-sterile compounding is an advantage but is not essential, as you will receive training on the job.

Your roster will include a mixture of opening and closing shifts across four weekdays, within our operating hours of 8am–5pm.

About you:

- Current general registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and confidence in medicinal cannabis dispensing and patient counselling.
- Sound clinical judgement and strong attention to detail.
- Clear communication and a warm,



professional approach to patients and prescribers.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work confidently in a busy dispensary.
- Initiative, reliability and a positive, supportive attitude.
- A willingness to learn non-sterile compounding.

DISPENSARY TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME/PART TIME We’re seeking a motivated, organised dispensary technician to support our medicinal cannabis and compounding dispensary.

This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone who values accuracy, enjoys helping patients and takes a proactive approach to their work. Experience in medicinal cannabis or compounding is an advantage, but we will train the right person.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Dispensing medicinal cannabis and compounded prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and processing orders through our digital systems.
- Processing payments, charging orders and accurately packing postal orders for dispatch.
- Supporting audits, compliance reporting and routine reviews as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient dispensary.
- Working closely with pharmacists and colleagues to keep daily operations running smoothly.

As our business grows, there may also be opportunities to learn other areas of the pharmacy, including compounding lab support, medical reception and front-of-house duties. We’re looking for people who are adaptable,



willing to learn and happy to support the wider team.

About you:

- Previous pharmacy or dispensary experience; a pharmacy technician qualification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Robust attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
- Friendly, professional communication, both on the phone and in writing.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Initiative, reliability and a proactive approach to learning.
- A positive attitude and an interest in a long-term role with our team.
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability for a mixture of opening and closing shifts.
