THE ROLE

As a Service Technician with IQTech Solutions, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' equipment performing reliably while delivering the level of service that keeps customers with us for the long term. You'll spend much of your time working independently in the field, backed by a team that trusts your judgement and supports you when you need it.

Your day could include

- Diagnosing and repairing multifunction printers, copiers and related office equipment
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and equipment servicing
- Installing and commissioning recent equipment at customer sites
- Connecting devices to customer networks and configuring print, scan and related functionality
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Assisting customers remotely where an onsite visit isn't required
- Providing customers with straightforward training when new equipment is installed
- Managing your service calls, parts and equipment efficiently
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Working with our sales and support teams to develop the right solution for customers
- Identifying recurring problems and helping us find better ways to prevent them

Most importantly, you'll take ownership of customer problems and see them through.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous copier,



printer or office equipment service experience would be highly regarded, but we're also interested in technically capable people from related fields. You may currently be a:

Copier Technician | Printer Technician | Field Service Technician | IT Technician | Electronics Technician | Communications Technician

We're particularly interested in someone who has:

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good computer and networking knowledge
- Experience with printers, multifunction devices or similar electronic equipment
- The ability to work independently and organise a field workload
- A practical, methodical approach to solving problems
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing directly with customers
- Pride in the quality of their work
- A current Australian driver's licence

Experience with print management software, Microsoft 365, network printing, scanning, PaperCut or similar technologies would be advantageous. Above all, we're looking for the right person — someone reliable, technically curious and willing to learn.
