About the role

We are seeking a Picker to join our team at Kalypso Kold Store in Morningside, QLD 4170. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our operations. As a Picker, you will be responsible for selecting, preparing, and packaging our frozen products for distribution to customers.

This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for quality and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work as part of a dedicated team in our busy cold store, where precision and efficiency are key to our success.

Key responsibilities

- Accurately packing frozen products
- Applying labels and documentation to packages in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Operating basic equipment and tools used in the picking and packing process
- Monitoring inventory levels and reporting any shortages or stock issues
- Assisting with quality checks to ensure all products meet our high standards before dispatch
- Working efficiently to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Supporting the team during peak periods to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar role in a warehouse or processing environment is advantageous




- Ability to stay in cold environment for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Physical fitness and capability to lift and carry items regularly
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A genuine interest in food safety and product quality
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed
