The Australian Submarine Agency (ASA) is seeking APS 5 officers to join Workforce, Industry and Supply Chain (WISC) Division. These roles offer a unique opportunity to shape Australia's nuclear-powered submarine enterprise by helping develop the workforce, industrial capability and supply chains that will underpin one of the nation's most significant national security and industrial undertakings.

APS 5 officers play an important role in supporting WISC's objectives through policy development, program delivery, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement and industrial development. You will contribute to providing advice, projects and initiatives that support the development of Australia's workforce, industrial capability and supply chains.

Depending on the role, you may contribute to and build expertise in strategic policy, industrial strategy and analysis, workforce initiatives, supply chain development or industry uplift activities, while working with stakeholders across Government, Defence, industry, academia and international partners to address some of Australia's most significant workforce, industrial and national security challenges.

As an APS 5 within the Workforce, Industry and Supply Chain Division, you may be responsible for:

- Contributing to quality advice and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by senior executives, Government and key stakeholders
- Contributing to strategic assessments, performance analysis, industrial intelligence or policy development activities that support future workforce, industrial and supply chain decision-making
- Preparing briefs, submissions, correspondence, analytical products and other advice on complex and often sensitive issues

ASA roles cover a diverse range of workplace environment requirements. These may include physical tasks or working in conditions that are not typical of an office environment. For more information, please contact the nominated contact officer.
