Experienced Part Time Practice Nurse (RN or EN) required 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to and with the support of the Nurse Manager you will be a vital member of the team contributing to the smooth running of the Practice with key responsibilities:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care

· Patient recalls and reminders

· Wound care

· Immunisations (adult and childhood)

· Chronic Disease Management Plans

· Health Assessments

· Assisting with Iron Infusions

· Assisting with skin procedures and other minor procedures

Sterilisation

About You

· Current AHPRA registration as an RN





Current CPR and First Aid Certification and Working with Children Check

· Previous experience in General Practice required

Nurse Immuniser (preferred but not essential)

· Solid clinical and organisational skills

· Excellent communication and holistic approach to patient care

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Experience with Best Practice Software (desirable)

· Must have unrestricted Australian work rights

· Must be available Thursday and Friday
