Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electrical Construction to join our team, based at our Ipswich office.

This is a full-time role involving the complete management of projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to final completion and handover. The successful candidate will take ownership of their projects, including selecting and managing their teams, coordinating resources, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing projects from commencement through to completion and handover
- Recruiting, selecting and coordinating project personnel and site crews
- Planning project programs, labour requirements, equipment and resources
- Managing site supervisors and overseeing daily project operations
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, contractors and stakeholders
- Monitoring project progress, productivity, workmanship and quality
- Identifying and resolving site issues, delays and project risks
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Managing project budgets, costs, variations and commercial performance
- Capturing and reviewing weekly labour hours, project progress and productivity
- Preparing and submitting weekly progress claims and monthly invoicing
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and project requirements
- Coordinating project completion, documentation and final handover

The role will involve regular site visits across Brisbane and South East Queensland,



along with travel to regional and interstate projects as required.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience managing electrical construction, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and construction methodologies
- Experience in LV/HV cable installation, advanced cable hauling or major electrical infrastructure highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
- Experience selecting, leading and managing construction teams and subcontractors
- Robust project planning, scheduling and resource management skills
- Experience managing project budgets, labour costs, variations, progress claims and invoicing
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation
- Strong communication, leadership and client relationship management skills
- Ability to identify and resolve site issues while maintaining project delivery
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Current driver's licence and Construction White Card
- Willingness to travel to regional and interstate projects when required

An electrical trade background or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management will be highly regarded.
