More about the Project Support Intern (Operational Safety) role at RoadTek In the role of Project Support Intern (Operational Safety), you will provide support in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of RoadTek's Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems, programs and initiatives. You will assist with monitoring legislative and regulatory requirements, policies, standards and procedures to support RoadTek's compliance obligations and maintain OFSC and QES certification requirements. You will contribute to business improvement initiatives and support the promotion of a positive and proactive safety culture across operational environments.

This role combines a focus on both physical and psychosocial safety, supporting the identification, assessment and management of workplace risks. You will assist in activities relating to risk management, incident investigations, safety management systems, human factors, safety culture, workplace wellbeing and continuous improvement. Working with experienced safety professionals, you will provide practical support to managers and employees to foster safe,



healthy and inclusive workplaces.

The role offers exposure to contemporary WHS practices and frameworks, including hazard identification, critical risk management, learning from incidents, human and organisational performance principles, and the development of strategies that improve safety outcomes across RoadTek's operational workforce.
