About the role The Kalgoorlie-Esperance Regional Manager has a key role within the organisation, responsible for leading and managing the day to day operations of our suite of Employment Services programs located in Kalgoorlie and Esperance.

The Regional

Manager will be required to drive performance that results in the achievement of program KPIs/Budgets, whilst constantly driving and delivering quality practices that are contractually compliant. They will also be required to lead and develop their teams to meet the performance standards the programs set.

Key responsibilities

- Provide strong leadership and guidance to employment services team members, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members comply with contractual obligations.
- Develop and mentor staff, ensuring all team members are provided with adequate training and ongoing development that meet KPI and contractual compliance.
- Manage performance of staff through conducting regular performance reviews, measuring performance against monthly KPIs.
- Manage underperforming team members with the negotiation of a Performance Improvement Plan and ongoing management to support team members in achieving the required performance levels.
- Hold regular staff meetings to facilitate professional development and ensure sound knowledge of the Deed and the Service Delivery model.
- Coordinate the day to day activities with a strong focus on time management and performance,



ensuring daily tasks are completed within accepted timeframes.
- Drive robust community engagement initiatives to collaboratively develop impactful activities and facilitate successful employment placements, aligning efforts with regional needs and fostering robust local partnerships.

About you

- Extensive experience in management with a proven ability to meet individual and organisational key performance targets.
- Strong knowledge of the local labour market, ensuring that site activities are in line with regional employment needs.
- Experience in leading teams - able to provide feedback, give direction to a team, set goals and KPIs and manage performance.
- Understanding of Government Employment Services programs and contractual requirements.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to influence, motivate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound IT and Administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to travel between Kalgoorlie and Esperance as required.
- A satisfactory National Police Check and a current Working with Children Check.
- Current driver's licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
