ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a rare opportunity to join the Carinya Family in a permanent Registered Nurse position, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available, including a generous part-time roster of 66 hours per fortnight – offering close to full-time hours!

We're looking for a compassionate, dedicated and clinically confident Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional aged care and making a genuine difference in the lives of our residents.

In this rewarding role, you'll be an integral part of our close-knit team, providing safe, high-quality, person-centred care while guiding and supporting our wonderful care staff.



You'll play a key role in maintaining excellent clinical standards, promoting positive resident outcomes and ensuring care aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, as well as Carinya's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver and oversee high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ health and wellbeing
- Lead, mentor, and support personal care assistants and other team members
- Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and facility policies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in continuous improvement

Qualifications:

- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

You will be able to demonstrate:

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to elderly care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated communication, leadership and ability to manage staff performance
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop team productivity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
