About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Lead Fitter to join our client's switchboard manufacturing team. This hands-on leadership role will see you take ownership of switchboard manufacturing projects, coordinating workshop teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, you will work closely with Project Managers and lead teams ranging from smaller individual builds through to major projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate switchboard manufacturing teams, allocating tasks and managing daily workflow.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring production targets, timelines and quality standards are achieved.




- Liaise with Project Managers and the Workshop Foreman to coordinate resources and materials.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
- Provide hands-on technical support, guidance and mentoring to workshop personnel.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

- Extensive experience in electrical switchboard manufacturing and assembly.
- Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule.
