The EL1 Salesforce Development Lead provides technical leadership for the design, development and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions within a complex ICT environment. The role oversees development teams, ensures solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with architecture and business requirements, and delivers hands-on technical guidance to support the successful implementation of high-quality Salesforce platforms.

Key responsibilities

- Ensuring solutions adhere to governance and coding standards via reviews.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
- Supporting design standards creation and design reviews, and developing Salesforce Vlocity solutions that ensure robustness, re-useability, performance, and quality of the solution.
- Delivering quality Salesforce Vlocity components and solutions in concert with other developers, UI/UX experts, solution architects, and accessibility experts.
- Bringing your expertise of Salesforce Vlocity to help guide best practice solution delivery.
- Supporting the code deployment process through all environments including Production.
- Adopting and supporting the rollout of CI/CD and DevOps and test automation practises.
- Helping to build the capability of the team through close collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues.
- Actively participating in daily scrum activities.

NOTE: the key responsibilities of the role are based on current priorities and may change over time

Essential criteria

- Experience working with OOP, frameworks & design patterns,



in building and working with integrations (example REST APIs, Platform Events) and working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development
- Experience in Salesforce platform technologies such as Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs as well as Vlocity package/Omnistudio platform using Ominiscripts, Flexcards, Integration procedure and DataRaptors
- Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Health Cloud implementations
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, Omnistudio Developer/Consultant, Salesforce Architect Domain) are highly desirable
- Experience in helping build team capability, establishing/refining and influencing processes/practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Desirable criteria

- Experience working with Source Control tools (e.g. GitLab) & package-based development
- Experience with Atlassian Jira, VSCode and DevOps practices
- Demonstrable experience successfully implementing minimum 5+ Salesforce platform-based CRM projects using an agile methodology




- Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded
