Pool Terrace is seeking an energetic hospitality professional who is ready to grow into leadership. As our new Food & Beverage Team Leader, you’ll work alongside the management team to support the day-to-day operations of this busy poolside restaurant while mentoring and developing fellow team members.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, delivering friendly and efficient service and building the leadership skills needed for future supervisory and management roles within Hamilton Island.

Your Role

As Food & Beverage Team Leader, you’ll help coordinate daily Pool Terrace operations while remaining hands-on with service. You’ll coach team members, support management and help ensure every guest receives warm, efficient and engaging service.

Where you’ll make an impact

- Lead the team by example during service




- Support daily floor operations and service coordination
- Coach and mentor Food & Beverage Attendants
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members
- Resolve guest enquiries professionally and confidently
- Support opening, closing and operational procedures
- Maintain high service standards and venue presentation
- Ensure RSA, food safety and WHS compliance
- Foster a positive, energetic and supportive team culture

What we’re looking for

- Strong à la carte food and beverage service experience
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace
- An energetic and hands-on approach to service
- Confidence supporting and motivating a team
- Passion for mentoring and developing others
- A desire to take the next step towards management
- RSA Certificate (Essential)
