We are looking for a Practice Nurse (REGISTERED NURSE) on a Permanent Part Time basis to join our Medical Practice. Our practice provides a friendly, flexible work environment with ongoing training support and opportunity for career development.
Key responsibilities
- Patient triaging
- Wound care and dressings
- Childhood immunisation
- Cold chain management
- Knowledge of travel vaccination
- ECG's and spirometry
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
- Coordinating the patient recall and reminder system
- Implementing practice infection control and sterilization
- Managing and ordering of clinical supplies
About you
- Current unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Registered Nurse or Medically endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Outstanding work ethic, organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a quick-paced, multiple practitioner environment
- Available to work all shifts between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm Monday & Wednesday to Friday
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
- Well developed computer skills
- Demonstrable ability to be reliable, flexible and a team-player
- Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting desired
