We are seeking reliable, hardworking Civil Construction Labourers to support a range of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects. This is a great opportunity for candidates with civil construction experience, particularly those with a roller ticket and previous TMR experience.
About the Role
You will be involved in a variety of civil construction, road maintenance and infrastructure works, helping deliver important projects that keep our roads safe and our communities connected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with civil construction works, including culvert installation, drainage and sandbagging.
- Carry out road repairs, maintenance and general roadworks.
- Operate rollers and other machinery safely, where qualified and required.
- Assist with site preparation, earthworks and other general labouring duties.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow crew members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
- Previous civil construction or roadworks experience.
- Roller ticket – highly regarded.
- Previous TMR project experience – highly regarded.
- Experience with drainage, culverts, sandbagging,
road repairs or road maintenance will be an advantage.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Current driver's licence and relevant tickets are advantageous.
Work Schedule & Allowances
- Location: Tully, QLD.
- Hours: 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work as required.
- Daily allowances: Meal and travel allowances provided each day.
- Accommodation: Not provided. Applicants must organise their own accommodation for the duration of the project.
