About the Organisation
Our client is an independently owned general insurance brokerage and Steadfast member, with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The business is growing and is investing in its Corporate team.
About the Role
We're recruiting a Head of Corporate to lead the Corporate team in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
You'll build and own a $600k to $700k income portfolio, transitioned to you over time.
The role reports to the Managing Director. This is a hunting role, with commission paid on the recent business you write.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing the Corporate broking team
- Managing and growing a $600k to $700k Corporate portfolio
- Winning new Corporate clients and increasing share of wallet across the existing book
- Negotiating terms with local and international markets
- Acting as the escalation point for the Corporate team
- Managing budgets and forecasts for the Corporate segment
About You
You'll be a Corporate Broker with 8+ years in the industry, your own Corporate book and people management experience. Tier 1 is mandatory.
Ideally you'll bring:
- Strong relationships with insurers, underwriting agencies and Lloyd's markets
- A track record of writing new Corporate business
- Experience leading Account Managers and Account Executives
Brokers from global and national brokerages will be considered.
