The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer or Senior Associate with 4+ years' post-admission experience to work closely with two nationally recognised Partners with extensive experience advising on complex technology transactions, artificial intelligence, intellectual property and major outsourcing projects.

The team works on some of Australia's most significant technology and digital transformation matters, providing the opportunity to learn from experienced specialists while developing direct client relationships and taking greater ownership of matters.

With one of the Partners also leading the firm's AI initiatives, you'll gain valuable insight into how emerging technologies are transforming legal practice.

The Work
The practice advises government agencies, major corporates, financial institutions, telecommunications providers and technology businesses.
Your work will include:

- Technology & IT Contracting - drafting and negotiating technology procurement agreements, software licensing and commercial contracts.




- Outsourcing & Digital Transformation - advising on major outsourcing arrangements, systems implementation and business transformation projects.
- Artificial Intelligence - addressing emerging legal and regulatory issues associated with AI and recent technologies.
- Intellectual Property - advising on IP rights, licensing and commercialisation arrangements.
- Privacy & Data Protection - providing advice on privacy obligations and related regulatory matters.

About You
We're seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience gained in private practice.
You will bring:

- Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills
- A strong academic record and excellent technical legal ability
- The ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and commercially
- Sound judgment, creativity and a solutions-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in technology and emerging legal developments.

Previous exposure to technology contracts, outsourcing, intellectual property or privacy will be highly regarded but is not essential.
