Job Description

Due to the seniority and landmark nature of this position the responsibilities of the role will vary but will include:

- Lead and grow Borregaard's WA/Australian business with full P&L; accountability, taking ownership of financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, profitability and strategic execution, while acting as the most senior local leader responsible for delivering sustainable growth and aligning regional objectives with global business goals.
- Oversee the successful integration and ongoing management of the newly acquired operation, ensuring warehouse, logistics, inventory, customer service and administrative functions operate efficiently, while implementing improved systems, processes and operational frameworks to support future expansion.
- Develop and expand Borregaard's commercial footprint across mining and industrial markets, maintaining key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, leading negotiations and pricing discussions, and driving market penetration within dust suppression and broader industrial chemical applications.
- Lead, develop and build a high-performing local team, providing direction, coaching and support across operational, commercial and administrative functions, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety and continuous improvement as the business continues to evolve.





The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate capability across the below verticals:

- Experienced business leader with full P&L; ownership, capable of managing financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, profitability and strategic planning while successfully leading a branch, business unit or regional operation with accountability for both commercial and operational outcomes.
- Strong sales and business development professional, with a proven ability and willingness to grow revenue, develop long-term customer relationships, secure current business opportunities and drive market expansion across industrial, mining, technical or speciality chemical sectors.
- Well-rounded operational leader, who understands warehousing, logistics, inventory management, supply chain and service delivery, and has a track record of implementing systems, processes and operational improvements that increase efficiency, scalability and profitability.
- People-focused leader with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams, providing coaching, direction and accountability while fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, continuous improvement and strong employee engagement.

A rare opportunity to become Borregaard's first senior leader in Australia, taking ownership of a newly acquired business and building the company's direct presence within mining and industrial markets. The role combines general management, commercial leadership, operational oversight and full P&L; accountability, with responsibility for integrating the acquired operation, leading a small team, managing key customer relationships and driving future growth. The package will include the below:

- $180,000 - $220,000 base.
- Access to Borregaard's commission model.
- Fully maintained vehicle or vehicle allowance.
