Our client is one of the hotel groups with various properties throughout Australia, with the Head Office located in Sydney, requires full time Room Division Manager, with the salary ranges between $80,000 to 83,000 plus superannuation.

To be considered for this role you must have:

• AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma or associate degree.

• Or at least two years of relevant experience to substitute the formal qualification or a combination thereof.

• You must be an Australian Citizen/ Permanent Resident or have proper working rights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, coordinate and monitor Front Office and Reservations operations.

• Evaluate Rooms Division performance, identify service, productivity or financial gaps.

• Provide the Area General Manager with management reporting on Rooms Division performance and risks.

• Maintain a visible leadership presence while ensuring the primary focus of the role remains management and accountability for the wider Rooms Division rather than routine front-desk task performance.

• Contribute to annual business plans, Rooms Division budgets, forecasts and operational strategies.

• Monitor Rooms Division revenue, payroll, labour productivity and controllable expenditure.

• Analyse financial and operational results and implement or recommend corrective actions for improvement.

• Support sales and marketing activity and refer corporate, group and other business opportunities.





• Determine Rooms Division staffing requirements according to forecast demand and operational requirements.

• Prepare and manage rosters and labour deployment to maintain appropriate coverage while controlling payroll and productivity.

• Direct and coordinate Front Office and Reservations employees and establish clear priorities for housekeeping coordination.

• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding and induction of Rooms Division employees.

• Monitor Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping coordination.

• Establish, manage and monitor Reservations and Front Office procedures to ensure booking accuracy, inventory control, appropriate rate application and compliance with hotel standards.

• Provide management oversight of Housekeeping operational priorities, room status, productivity and presentation standards.

• Direct coordination between Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping to ensure cleaning, inspection and room-release priorities support forecast occupancy and arrivals.

• Conduct or coordinate room and public-area quality inspections and follow up identified deficiencies.

• Ensure Rooms Division employees comply with Company policies and procedures, WHS requirements, privacy obligations, fire and evacuation procedures and security requirements.

The suitable candidate will have excellent skills related to the operation of Hotels Management and hospitality industry in general.

Salary: $80,000 to 83,000 plus superannuation
