About the Role

We are seeking an ICT Business Analyst to identify business requirements and develop specifications for technology solutions supporting our NDIS service delivery and business operations. You will work with internal stakeholders, software vendors and developers to improve participant management, rostering, service recording, billing and reporting systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Consult with service delivery, finance, workforce and management teams to gather, analyse and document business and user requirements for ICT systems.

• Investigate existing processes and system workflows covering participant intake, service agreements, rostering, support delivery, incident recording and NDIS billing.

• Identify gaps, duplicated activities and system limitations, and recommend changes to software functionality and associated business processes.

• Prepare business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria to guide software development, configuration and integration.

• Develop process maps,



data flow diagrams and data models that describe current and proposed system workflows, information requirements and business rules.

• Define requirements for exchanging information between participant management, rostering, payroll and finance systems, including validation and reconciliation controls.

• Translate stakeholder requirements for participant consent, privacy, access permissions and audit records into functional system specifications.

• Evaluate proposed software solutions against agreed requirements and advise management on suitability, implementation options and operational impacts.

• Apply project management methods to plan system changes, estimate resources and costs, coordinate activities and monitor delivery milestones.

• Develop and coordinate system and user acceptance testing, document defects and verify that implemented solutions meet approved requirements.

• Coordinate the implementation of approved functional solutions, including data migration validation, release readiness and post-implementation review.

• Prepare system procedures, user guides and training materials, and deliver structured training to staff.

• Act as the central liaison between business users, developers and software vendors to clarify requirements, assess change requests and support system project decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/ Master degree IT, Business Analysis, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience.

• Positive communication and interpersonal skills
