One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Citrix Systems Administrator to support the delivery, maintenance and optimisation of critical digital workspace infrastructure. The successful Citrix Systems Administrator will work across Microsoft and Citrix virtualisation technologies, supporting enterprise operating systems, applications, virtual desktops and endpoints.

The successful candidate will be offered an initial 6-month contract with the view to be extended, based onsite in Canberra, with rewarding hourly rates.

The successful Citrix Systems Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Installing, configuring and maintaining Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure and supporting systems.

- Supporting Microsoft Windows environments, applications and endpoint technologies.

- Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising virtualisation infrastructure and system performance.

- Managing system configurations,



upgrades and operational issues to maintain service reliability.

The successful Citrix Systems Administrator will have experience in the following:

- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop.

- Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policy and related infrastructure services.

- Enterprise desktop virtualisation, system administration and technical troubleshooting.

- Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar technologies.
