Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of complex Defence capability projects and strategic work programs. You will provide leadership across project planning, delivery, governance and risk management while ensuring critical capability outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

The successful Project Managers will be offered initial 12-month contracts with the view to be extended, based onsite in QLD or ACT, with rewarding contracting rates.

The successful Project Managers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of complex Defence capability projects.

- Manage project governance, risks, issues, dependencies and assurance activities.

- Oversee project budgets, resources, schedules and delivery performance.

- Engage senior stakeholders and prepare executive briefs, business cases and reports.





The successful Project Managers will have experience in the following:

- Leading complex projects or programs within Defence or Government environments.

- Project governance, risk management, assurance and project controls.

- Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies, including product ownership.

- Strategic stakeholder engagement, financial management and executive reporting.

Experience delivering Defence capability projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and navigating Commonwealth governance frameworks will be highly regarded. Relevant Project or Program Management qualifications and experience using project management software will also be advantageous.
