The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Supervisor with a background in both warehousing and transport operations?

We're looking for a hands-on leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Moonah distribution centre. This role offers the opportunity to lead warehouse and transport activities, develop a high-performing team, and drive safety, service and operational excellence.

This is a 2-year max-term contract offering a unique opportunity to play a key role in a well-established operation backed by the global strength of DHL Supply Chain.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse and transport function, including:

- Leading and promoting a strong safety and compliance culture.
- Managing daily warehouse, inventory and distribution activities.
- Coordinating transport operations and ensuring customer delivery requirements are met.
- Leading workforce planning, rostering, training and performance management.
- Driving operational efficiency across warehouse and transport processes.
- Overseeing cycle counts,



stock accuracy and inventory controls.
- Conducting operational audits and ensuring compliance standards are maintained.
- Acting as the key contact for customer queries and operational escalations.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing team members to achieve performance outcomes.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Operations Supervisor or Logistics Supervisor role.
- Experience leading teams across both warehousing and transport operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, distribution and transport compliance.
- Proven ability to plan resources, manage competing priorities and solve operational challenges.
- Experience with workforce planning, rostering and team development.
- Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- A proactive leadership style with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
