My client is an independent, Australian-owned firm with a national platform and a strong reputation in mid-market M&A.; Their Brisbane corporate practice is busy and growing, and they're adding a Lawyer or Associate to the team.
About the role
You'll work closely with partners on a steady flow of transactional work, including:
- private M&A;, acting for buyers and sellers
- joint ventures, restructures and investments
- legal due diligence, including preparing DD reports
- general corporate advisory and transaction documents
This isn't a firm where juniors sit on the sidelines. You'll be trusted to run matters with real autonomy and help develop the lawyers coming up behind you.
About you
- 2–5 years' PAE in corporate or M&A; (more senior applicants also welcome)
- Mid-market transaction experience from a mid-tier or top-tier firm
- Confident in due diligence and drafting transaction documents
- Motivated to specialise and build a career in M&A;
