Selby’s is seeking a reliable and motivated Zund Operator to join our production team in Dandenong South.

We are an established Australian manufacturer specialising in custom flags, banners, signage and display products for corporate, retail, event and local government customers across Australia.

Whether you have previous Zund operating experience or have worked with other digital cutting equipment and are keen to learn, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating digital cutting equipment to accurately cut printed materials and signage products, ensuring jobs are completed to specification, meet quality standards and are ready for the next stage of production.

Working closely with our printing, finishing and dispatch teams, you will help keep production running efficiently and ensure customer deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and set up the Zund digital cutting machine.

- Prepare materials and cutting jobs in accordance with job specifications.

- Follow digital cutting files and production instructions.

- Check finished products for accuracy and quality.

- Manage workflow to meet production deadlines.

- Identify and report equipment issues or production problems.

- Carry out routine machine cleaning and maintenance.

- Assist with material handling and other production duties as required.





- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience operating a Zund cutter or similar digital cutting equipment.

- Experience in signage, large-format printing or manufacturing (highly regarded).

- Basic computer skills and the ability to follow job instructions and cutting files.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

- Positive time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.

- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.

- Reliability and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A commitment to workplace health and safety.

Training can be provided on our Zund equipment for candidates with relevant transferable experience. A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are just as important as having operated a Zund previously.
