We are now seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering the high standards of service synonymous with the Peppers brand.

About the Role

As our Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will take a hands-on leadership role in the daily operations of The Glasshouse Restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events.

Working closely with the management and kitchen teams, you will be responsible for maintaining service standards, supporting and developing team members, and ensuring our guests receive a consistently welcoming and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during service, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service.

- Set the standard for professional, attentive and polished food and beverage service.

- Provide clear direction, training and ongoing support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

- Coordinate daily restaurant operations, including staff allocation, table management and service delivery.





- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure effective communication and seamless food and beverage service.

- Assist with staff rostering, training and development to support operational requirements.

- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, food safety and RSA compliance.

- Proactively address guest feedback and resolve service concerns professionally and efficiently.

- Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including food menus, beverages and wine, and encourage the team to confidently engage with guests.

- Support management in identifying opportunities to improve service standards, operational efficiency and overall guest satisfaction.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or quality restaurant environment.

- Strong operational knowledge of restaurant and beverage service.

- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

- A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate, guide and develop a team.

- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to remain calm, organised and professional during busy service periods.

- A proactive approach, with a willingness to lead by example and assist wherever required.

- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.





- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, required prior to commencement.

Experience within a premium hotel or restaurant environment, together with sound wine and beverage knowledge, will be highly regarded.
