Position: Medical Receptionist
Location: Medmate Head Office – Richmond, Victoria
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Primarily remote, with occasional in-person contact days required at our Richmond office.

We're looking for a friendly, compassionate and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our growing virtual care team on a casual basis.

As a key point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in ensuring they receive a positive, supportive and seamless healthcare experience.

? Position Details

- Casual evening shifts

- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday

- Shifts rostered between 3 pm and 10 pm

- Hybrid working arrangement, with some attendance at our Richmond office

What You'll Do

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email and online chat

- Schedule virtual appointments and coordinate with clinicians

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records





- Assist with administrative tasks supporting our clinical and operations teams

- Help patients navigate their healthcare journey with empathy, professionalism and efficiency

? Who We're Looking For

- Previous experience in medical reception or customer service (essential)

- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends

- Experience using Medical Director practice management software (desirable)

- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

- Confidence using technology and digital healthcare platforms

- A friendly, compassionate and patient-focused approach

- A genuine interest in making healthcare more accessible for Australians
