Our DNA: We believe in the power of inspired young people.
We’re the Y WA.
The Y WA (formally YMCA) are a branch of the global Y not-for-profit organisation, formed in 1844 and have been contributing to our local Australian communities since 1851. We believe in the power of inspired young people, delivering education, health & wellbeing, childcare, youth services, and community programs to thousands of Australians every day. None of this would be possible without our special Y People.
We are seeking to establish a pool of Aboriginal Islander Educational Officers (AIEO) interested in working at our campuses in Mirrabooka, Armadale and Perth CBD for permanent full-time and part-time vacancies, which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

This is a diversity initiative to achieve equality and increase workforce representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Therefore, pursuant to Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants will be considered for this role.
