We are seeking an experienced investment operations leader to join our team as Head of Investment Delivery on a 14-month fixed-term contract.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, you will lead the Investment Delivery function, overseeing the operational implementation of investment decisions, investment governance, platform relationships, portfolio reporting and client delivery.

Working closely with senior investment professionals and operational stakeholders, you will ensure investment decisions are translated into accurate, timely and well-controlled execution.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can confidently lead a team, manage competing priorities and take ownership of delivering outcomes.

As a growing business, our processes and systems continue to evolve. You will need to be comfortable navigating change, bringing structure to complex workflows and proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability.

We are looking for someone who can quickly understand the business, establish priorities and contribute from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Operations & Portfolio Implementation

- Lead the operational implementation of investment decisions across SMA portfolios and investment platforms.

- Oversee portfolio changes, trade coordination, implementation controls and associated documentation.

- Coordinate new client and portfolio onboarding, ensuring accurate setup and alignment with investment mandates.

- Coordinate platform operational due diligence,



onboarding requirements and compliance-related processes with investment platforms, fund managers and Responsible Entities.

Investment Governance

- Oversee the preparation and coordination of Investment Committee papers, meeting materials and governance documentation.

- Maintain accurate records of investment decisions, meeting minutes and action items.

- Ensure governance processes are delivered within agreed timelines and meet relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.

Portfolio Reporting & Client Delivery

- Oversee investment reporting, including portfolio performance, holdings and investment updates.

- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across investment systems and reporting processes.

- Coordinate investment communications to financial advisers and clients.

- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and maintain high service standards.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

- Lead and develop the Investment Delivery team, providing clear direction, prioritisation, support and accountability.

- Manage workflows, competing deadlines and team capacity across multiple client portfolios and projects.

- Establish and refine operational processes, ensuring workflows are clearly documented, efficient and supported by appropriate controls.

- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency.

- Contribute to the ongoing development of scalable systems, reporting frameworks and automation.

About You

You are an experienced investment operations professional who combines strong technical knowledge with practical leadership capability.

You are comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and solving problems.



You can balance attention to detail with the ability to prioritise, delegate and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.

You will bring:

- Significant experience in investment operations, portfolio implementation, asset management operations or a related field, ideally 8+ years.

- Strong understanding of managed accounts, model portfolios and investment platforms.

- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team, including setting priorities, managing workloads, developing staff and driving accountability.

- Experience working with investment governance processes, Investment Committees and portfolio reporting.

- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.

- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with investment systems and reporting tools.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior investment professionals.

- Experience working within a regulated Australian financial services setting.
