ASSISTANT VENUE MANAGER | THE STATION + BANGLA

The Station has been lighting up the South Perth hospitality scene since opening its doors in December 2023.

From Nokturnl, the team behind Stories, The Beaufort, The Old Synagogue and The Queen's Arms, The Station is a 250-seat modern gastro pub where great food, drinks and an unforgettable atmosphere come together.

And now there is even more happening under the roof.

BANGLA is our bold new Asian dining experience, bringing something completely different to the South Perth scene. Inspired by the vibrant energy, fragrant flavours and sensory chaos of Asia’s greatest dining districts, BANGLA delivers big flavour, electric energy and a little late-night mischief.

With two very different hospitality experiences operating side by side, this is a fast-paced setting with plenty to learn, lead and get excited about.

We are now on the hunt for an experienced, driven and high-calibre Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the next chapter of The Station and BANGLA.

This is an opportunity for an established hospitality leader who is ready to take the next step in their career, expand their operational knowledge and work closely with senior management to drive the success of a busy, multi-faceted venue.

Your primary focus will be supporting the day-to-day leadership and overall performance of The Station, working closely with the Venue Manager to ensure the operation runs seamlessly and our standards remain consistently high across breakfast, lunch and dinner.

You will take an active role in leading the management team, developing our people, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve the way we operate. You will also work closely with the BANGLA Restaurant Manager,

providing support and management oversight across the wider operation when required.

This role goes beyond running a great service. You will be involved in the bigger picture, helping drive sales, control labour costs, maintain operational standards and build a culture where accountability, teamwork and exceptional guest experiences are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for someone who can confidently lead from the front while also thinking commercially, developing people and taking ownership of the details that make a successful venue.

If you are passionate about hospitality, thrive in a high-energy environment and are ready to take on greater responsibility within an evolving hospitality group, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
