Are you mechanically minded, organised and passionate about the automotive industry? Driveline Services Australia is looking for a Kit Builder to join our team, specialising in assembling automotive kits for applications ranging from light vehicles and 4WDs through to trucks, heavy machinery and industrial equipment.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail and enjoys working with mechanical components in a practical, fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Kit Builder, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive complete, accurate and quality-assured kits ready for installation or use.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assembling and preparing kits to meet customer and application requirements.

- Identifying, selecting and checking components against parts lists and specifications.

- Ensuring kits are complete, accurate and meet quality standards.

- Maintaining organised stock, work areas and component storage.

- Assisting with inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch as required.

- Working closely with the warehouse, workshop and broader team to meet customer requirements.

- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

About You

You’re practical, reliable and take pride in getting the details right. You enjoy working with your hands and understand the importance of accuracy and quality.

Ideally,



you’ll bring:

- An interest in automotive, mechanical or heavy vehicle industries.

- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and technical information.

- Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to your work.

- The ability to identify components, check part numbers and work accurately.

- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and a team-focused approach.

- Positive time management and the ability to work independently when required.

Previous experience in automotive parts, mechanical assembly, warehousing, kitting or a similar role will be highly regarded. A mechanical background is advantageous, but we’re also interested in candidates with the right attitude and aptitude.
