The Role

As Credit Analyst, you will anchor operational leadership in our new Sydney CBD office. In this role, you will lead loan processing efficiency, manage pipeline throughout, handle complex lending scenarios and act as a key relationship manager for clients and lender BDMs.

This is not a back-office administration role—it is a critical senior position designed to drive pipeline velocity, elevate service standards and assist in mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner directly with brokers and administrators in analysing complex financial portfolios and recommend optimal loan structures aligned with client goals as well as lender policies

- Maintain a comprehensive and current knowledge of loan products, policy niches, and applicant qualification criteria

- Conduct client serviceability assessments, expense’s reviews and credit analysis to deliver fully compliant, high-quality submissions

- Drive efficient turnaround times by fostering collaborative relationships with clients, lender BDMs, credit assessors and conveyancers

- Act as the primary contact for clients, managing complex inquiries, delivering updates and converting pipeline opportunities with high professionalism

- Actively participate in management meetings, providing status updates and contributing to continuous process improvement

- Monitor pipeline velocity and conversion trends,



reporting to the Head of Strategy and The Head Broker

- Assist in guiding, mentoring, and supporting junior processors to maintain productivity and contribute to a continuous-learning team environment

Skills, Experience and Knowledge

We are looking for an experienced Financial Services industry professional within the Mortgage Broking or Banking sectors. You must have proven experience supporting residential and/or commercial mortgage loan processing and experience in lender credit analysis.

- Deep technical understanding of residential mortgage products, lender credit policies and serviceability calculators

- Demonstrated track record of managing end-to-end loan lodgements and handling complex financial files with high attention to detail

- High degree of autonomy with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a practical "find a way" mindset in fast paced environments

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines with composure

- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in managing client relationships and professional phone sales/lead conversion

- Proficiency with industry-standard software, CRM tools (such as MyCRM), lender application portals, and Google Suites

- High accountability and target-driven mindset, motivated by team success and personal operational KPIs
