About the role

Join the vibrant hospitality team at the Palais Royale Boutique Hotel in Katoomba, NSW as a Food and Beverage Attendant Allrounder. In this dynamic role, you will need to be quick on your feet and be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and dining areas as well as contributing to other departments where required. Whether you're preparing drinks, serving guests or assisting with food preparation, your versatility and passion for service excellence, will be key to your success.

You are joining a family oriented team which is part of a hospitality group that has been operating in the Blue Mountains for over 20 years.

What you'll be doing

- Providing attentive and friendly table service to guests in the restaurant and cafe

- Preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, during meal service

- Assisting with food preparation and presentation as needed

- Restocking and maintaining bar and dining supplies

- Ensuring the bar, dining and public areas are clean, well-organised and inviting for guests

- Adhering to all health, safety and licensing regulations

- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

- Relevant experience in a similar food and beverage or hotel hospitality role

- Experience using POS and reservations system

- Experience with stocktaking

- Minimum of 2+ years of food and beverage experience is required





- Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Demonstrated competence in basic food preparation and beverage service

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

- A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
