Position: Graduate Project Manager

About the Role

Due to continued growth in our project portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Graduate Project Manager to join our site-based project team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will work closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure activities support project delivery objectives, budgets and timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with site teams and liaise with external stakeholders.

- Prepare detailed scope of works to ensure project milestones are achieved.

- Review and interpret commercial and contractual documentation in line with project requirements.

- Manage and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, quality assurance (QA) records, and financial documents.

- Prepare, process and track invoices and progress payments.

- Coordinate and communicate with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

- Mintor contract variations and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).

- Support contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors.





- Conduct cost reporting, project scheduling and programming.

- Prepare and submit Notices of Delay in accordance with contract provisions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence.

- Construction White Card.

- Full Australian working rights.

- Ability to work away (FIFO).

Desirable

- Experience within electrical construction, utilities, infrastructure, resources or renewable energy sectors.

- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

- Previous experience supporting project-based activities.

- Understanding of commercial terms and the interpretation of contractual documents.

- Ability to read and interpreting drawings.

- Exposure to cost reporting, project scheduling and programming.
