AutoSparky is a locally owned auto electrical workshop at 9 Dalgety Alice Springs. We’re busy, we’re growing, and we need a Workshop Foreman who can take ownership of the floor and lead from the front.

We look after the electrical side of everything that moves in Central Australia: light and heavy vehicle auto electrical diagnosis and repair, air conditioning, 4WD and touring fit-outs, mine-spec and fleet vehicle fit-outs, lighting, dual battery and solar systems, plant and equipment electrical. Real variety, not one fleet on repeat.

Key responsibilities

- Run the workshop day to day: job allocation, workflow, turnaround and quality

- Lead, coach and hold the crew to standard, including mentoring apprentices

- Own workshop safety: pre-starts, procedures, housekeeping and compliance

- Be the technical go-to for diagnostics and tough electrical fault-finding, and still on the tools when it counts

- Work with customers and the office on job scope, quotes, timeframes and parts

- Keep job cards, service records and paperwork accurate and on time

About you





- Trade qualified Auto Electrician (Cert III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)

- Proven supervision or leadership experience in a workshop (references will be checked)

- HR licence (minimum), white card, working at heights

- Unrestricted Australian work rights (we're unable to offer visa sponsorship)

- Willing to complete a police check

- You back your crew, own your mistakes and set the standard by how you work

- Heavy vehicle and plant electrical, CAN bus / advanced diagnostics (highly regarded)

- Refrigerant handling licence (ARCtick) (highly regarded)

- Mine-spec vehicle fit-out experience (highly regarded)
