What You’ll Be Doing

This is a broad, hands-on legal role that will see you partnering closely with teams across the business, providing practical legal and regulatory advice that supports our continued growth while helping us manage risk and make confident commercial decisions.

You’ll work across a diverse range of matters, from negotiating commercial agreements and advising on regulatory obligations to reviewing marketing campaigns, supporting major projects and navigating emerging issues across privacy, data and information security. You’ll have the autonomy to manage matters appropriate to your experience, while working closely with our General Counsel and broader Legal, Risk and Compliance and Procurement teams. You’ll:

- Provide pragmatic legal and regulatory advice across the business
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements across a range of business areas
- Advise on regulatory compliance, consumer protection and broader commercial matters
- Review marketing campaigns, website content and other customer-facing collateral
- Provide advice on privacy, data and information security matters
- Support major projects, commercial initiatives and significant expenditure
- Identify opportunities to improve legal processes and contribute to more efficient ways of working

What Sets You Apart

You’re a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys getting close to the business, solving problems and providing advice that is clear, practical and considered. With at least four years’ PQE and a strong foundation built in a mid or top-tier private practice environment, you’re comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy while knowing when to seek input on more complex or higher-risk matters.

We’re looking for:

- Strong general commercial experience, particularly in contract drafting and negotiation
- Experience advising on regulatory compliance and consumer protection laws
- The ability to identify and navigate legal, regulatory and commercial risk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work across a broad stakeholder group
- A curious, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates
- Exposure to privacy, data, information security or the use of technology within legal operations is a big plus!
