We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a General Mill Worker at our MSF Sugar South Johnstone Mill site. This is a full-time seasonal role supporting mill operations throughout the crushing season. As a General Mill Worker, you will play a vital part in maintaining site cleanliness and assisting with essential labouring tasks. This hands-on position supports smooth factory operations and contributes directly to the success of our production team.
Key responsibilities
- General factory cleaning and housekeeping
- Hosing down factory areas and managing spills
- Assisting tradespeople and other mill personnel as needed
- Equipment Lubrication in the Process House
About you
- A current Driver's Licence
- A Forklift Licence and Non-Slew Crane Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Strong awareness and commitment to secure work practices
- A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Ability to perform manual labour tasks in a factory environment
