About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a locum placement with a multidisciplinary youth mental health team in North West Tasmania. The contract runs from Monday 26 October to Friday 18 December 2026. You will deliver intensive, home-based mental health care to young people aged 16 to 25 and their families, using a person-centred, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach.

- Competitive hourly rate + superannuation
- Locum contract - 26 October to 18 December 2026
- 76 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster of weekday day and evening shifts, plus weekend and public holiday day shifts
- Meaningful work supporting young people in their own homes and communities
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary youth mental health team
- Based in North West Tasmania, with beaches, Cradle Mountain and a relaxed coastal lifestyle on your doorstep

About You:

- AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in mental health as an Occupational Therapist; experience with young people is highly regarded
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration, or willing to obtain




- Comfortable working across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Available for the full contract period (no planned leave can be approved)
- Eligible to work in Australia
