Our valued client, based in Carrum Downs in Melbourne's south-east, operates in the industrial packaging, reconditioning and container deposit and refund services industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Plastics Granulator / Shredder Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, hands-on candidate with previous plastics processing experience looking for ongoing work.

About the Role:

- Operate plastics granulators and shredders to process plastic materials.
- Assist with general production and material handling duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Essential Requirements:

- Previous plastics processing experience using a granulator or shredder is essential.
- Current driver's licence and your own reliable transport.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Reliable,



safety-conscious and physically capable of performing the role.

Forklift licence advantageous but not essential. The client is willing to organise forklift training and licensing for a suitable candidate who does not already hold a licence.

Available Shifts & Pay Rates:

Day Shift - $38.44 per hour

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Afternoon Shift - $43.82 per hour

- Monday to Thursday: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
- Friday: 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The client is flexible and will consider candidates who prefer either day or afternoon shifts.
