We are seeking Casual Environmental Services Assistants to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, you will ensure patient rooms, wards, bathrooms areas are maintained to a high standard while following hospital procedures and infection control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain patient wards, bedrooms, bathrooms, and support areas to the highest clinical standards
- Perform vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital.
- Remove rubbish and medical waste safely and efficiently in line with hospital procedures.
- Operate floor cleaning machinery and equipment ( training provided)
- Follow Infection Prevention and Control, Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Services procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily cleaning objectives.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

You are reliable, friendly and hardworking, with a strong focus on cleanliness, safety and teamwork. You take pride in your work and are committed to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming hospital environment.

You Will Also Bring

- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (including mornings, afternoons, evenings) is essential.




- Ability to cover core shift patterns of 08:00–16:00 and 14:00–21:00.
- A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a solid grasp of infection control basics, allowing you to follow safety guidelines and instructions with precision.
